As a modern industrial service provider in logistics, packaging, and container cleaning, Vario Pack GmbH & Co. KG carries a special responsibility: to combine economic success with ecological and social responsibility. For us, sustainability is not a trend but a central part of our corporate philosophy—and long established as a key element of our strategic development.
Our services lie at the beginning and end of many industrial value chains. This is exactly where we start—with solutions that conserve resources, make processes efficient, and reduce the ecological footprint of both our customers and our own company in the long term.
Concrete measures – measurable impact
We approach sustainability holistically. Therefore, we specifically focus on technical innovations, energy-efficient infrastructure, and transparent communication. Important projects have already been implemented company-wide:
- Photovoltaic systems on factory roofs enable the use of solar energy for self-supply—an active contribution to reducing external energy consumption and CO₂ emissions.
- Combined heat and power plants provide highly efficient, decentralized electricity and heat generation directly on site.
- Wastewater treatment plants in container cleaning significantly reduce fresh water consumption and enable resource-saving reuse within the processes.
- E-mobility in the vehicle fleet: In addition to electrically powered company cars, we are increasingly relying on emission-free transport solutions in the truck sector to rethink logistics sustainably.
- Transparency through CDP ranking: As a participant in the international sustainability reporting system CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), we regularly publish our CO₂ emissions and receive external evaluations—a clear signal for credibility, climate awareness, and continuous improvement.
Our understanding: Progress with responsibility.
For us, sustainability doesn’t end with technical investments. It begins with taking responsibility – for employees, partners, society, and the environment. This means for us:
- Efficient processes with minimal resource consumption
- Environmentally friendly product and service design
- Durability and recyclability of materials
- Regional partnerships and short transport routes
- Transparent communication internally and externally
As a company deeply rooted in industrial processes for decades, we know: Sustainability does not mean sacrifice—but progress with foresight. That’s exactly what we work on—day by day.
