Robotics instead of monotonous work
– Automation in container cleaning

Vario Pack GmbH & Co. KG aims to sustainably optimize processes while continuously improving working conditions for its employees. A key step in this direction is the introduction of automated robotic technology in the field of industrial container cleaning.

In a fully thought-out process, two robots handle the automated loading and unloading of the cleaning system for KLTs and other transport containers:

  • One robot removes the dirty containers individually from a pallet that was previously placed on a conveyor belt by an employee using a forklift.
  • The containers are then cleaned fully automatically.
  • A second robot picks up the clean containers at the end of the washing line and stacks them neatly onto a new pallet.

These automated work steps specifically replace monotonous and physically demanding tasks. This noticeably relieves our employees, allowing them to focus on more demanding tasks and key process steps.

The use of robots is deliberately designed not as a replacement but as a supplement to human labor. The goal is to create a modern, safe, and efficient working environment in which humans and machines work together optimally.

With this solution, Vario Pack is making a clear statement for the future: robotics in container cleaning is the first building block on the path to an automated, scalable, and high-performance production environment – and an example of our commitment to integrating innovation purposefully and responsibly into everyday business operations.
